Prof. Bryce Vissel
Program Head
A Professor of Neuroscience with over 30 years of research, project management, and leadership experience. He is a passionate educator, influential leader, social justice advocate, agent for change, and innovator.
Prof. Vissel's work spans multiple neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, spinal disorders, as well as studies on the neural basis of learning, memory, and movement mechanisms.
Dr. Sandy Stayte
Senior Research Scientist
Responsible for the coordination of Translational Research and research Development. Neuroscientist with over 16 years of research and project management experience. Driven to identify novel, sophisticated therapies, a trusted leader, communicator of complex ideas, and an advocate for research integrity.
Dr. Peggy Rentsch
Senior Research Scientist
Coordinator of Basic Research and Organisational Development. A Neuro-immunologist with over 12 years research and project management experience. Driven to uncover disease origins, a student advocate, an accountability manager, responsible for systems and processes, and an animal ethics advocate.
Dr. Nesli Avgan
Senior Research Scientist
Coordinator of Clinical Research and Business Development. A Human Geneticist with over 12 years of research and project management experience. Has a passion for medical research, is a lover of big data, creative mind, problem solver, and big-picture thinker.
